Flowering all year round. Annual / biennial. Native.

Very small 4-petalled white flowers on branched, erect stems are follewed by narrow, curved seedpods. The basal rosettes has slightly hairy, stalked leaves, the upper stems and leaves are hairless. Height 5-40cm

Throughout most of Ireland on open, bare ground in gardens and on waste ground, walls and pavements.

Similar: Whitlow-grass, Erophila verna agg. has flat oval fruit.
