Small-flowered Cranes-bill
Geranium pusillum

Flowering time: May-September. Annual.

Small pink-mauve flowers with notched petals. Only 5 of the 10 stamens have
anthers. Downy leaves, rounded, with 7-9 lobes. Fruits are smooth,downy.
Height: 5-15cm.

Habitat: Sandy, well-drained ground. Mainly coastal, also roadsides, waste ground.
Not recorded in central Ireland. Possibly introduced.

Similar: Doves-foot Cranes-bill (G.molle)
Hairy. Pink flowers with 10 anthers. Hairless,wrinkled fruits.
