Flowering time: July-August. Biennial. Native.

Golden-yellow flowers in loose corymb on branched stems. The ray florets are longer and wider spaced than those of Common Ragwort. Basal rosette of undivided oval leaves with large terminal lobes.

Very common on wet or damp ground in marshes, fields and on roadsides

Similar: Common Ragwort, Jacobaea vulgaris. Hybrids between Common and Marsh Ragwort occur: Jacobaea x ostenfeldii
