Wall Barley Unbranched, spike-like flowerheads, spikelets 1-flowered in alternating groups of three with three long, stiff awns. Leaves +/- hairy with short, blunt ligules. Flowering stems +/- prostrate at base, height 15-30cm. Occurs on roadsides, pavement edges and waste ground. Most Irish records are from Dublin, Belfast and SE Ireland.
