Flowering June - August. Annual or perennial. Native.

Flowerheads with 2-4 small, orangey-yellow flowers, the flowerstalks longer than the leaves. Both stems and leaves are very hairy and the leaflets are oblong-lanceolate. A spreading, more or less prostrate plant, the stems 5-30cm long.

Very rare in Ireland, only found at a few sites in coastal grassland in West Cork and Co. Wexford
