Flowering time: May - September. Perennial. Native.

Solitary yellow flowers, the outer ligules greyish, on unbranched stems that are more/less hairy at base and without bracts. Leaves in basal rosette, more or less hairy and more or less wavy-toothed. Forked hairs. Height: 15-40cm. A very variable plant.

Frequent on dry grasslands, sand dunes and roadsides.
