Flowering May-September. Annual. Introduced.

White or pale-yellow flowers with darker veins and erect sepals. Seedpods with a slender beak. Leaves are pinnately lobed with large, rounded end lobes. More/less erect straggly plant, the stems with few branches.

Found on cultivated and waste ground and roadsides and has been known as an urban weed in Dublin since Viking times.
