An introduced variety of the native Common Birds-foot-Trefoil. The yellow flowers with light-coloured keels are not flushed red or orange, the leaflets are larger and the upper stems are usually hollow. Growth is stronger, taller and more/less erect. Identified by Paul Green

Introduced with wildflower and amenity seed mixtures and increasingly found on roadsides, grass verges, path edges and waste ground.
