Small pinkish flowers in 2-3 rayed, almost stalkless umbels with long narrow bracteoles but no bracts. Ovoid fruit, outer prickly. Hairy leaves are 1-2 pinnate on solid, often prostrate, weak stems. Height 15-40cm

Occasional and decreasing in Ireland with a scattered distribution on sea-walls, waste ground and in dry grassland. Identified by Paul Green
