Flowering August-September. Perennial. Native.

Paler yellow flowers than Common Ragwort and the bracts without dark tips. Achenes are hairy. The leaves are deeply pinnate with narrow, coarsely toothed segments. Stems and leaves with greyish-white cottony hairs, densest under leaves. Short creeping rhizomes. Height 50-100cm

Most records are from the Dublin area and the east coast of Ireland. It can be locally frequent on roadsides, waste ground and grassland on dry neutral or calcareous soils.
