Flowering June-September. Annual. Garden escape.

Dark blue flowers with 5 petals, but there are also pale-blue, white or reddish-purple forms. Basal leaves are oval and toothed, stem leaves narrow, more/less untoothed. A prostrate or scambling plant. Height 10-15cm.

A garden escape or discard with most records from waste ground, pavement cracks and rubbish dumps.
