Flowering April - July. Annual. Native.

Small white flowers with 5 undivided petals and sepals with membraneous margins, 2x longer than the petals. Leaves with 3 unbranched veins. A slightly downy plant with slender stems to 25cm.

Occasional in slightly acidic moist woods and on shady hedgebanks. Scattered distribution in Ireland but less frequent in the west
