Flowering: June-September. Perennial. Native.

Solitary large white flowers with yellow centres on long, erect stems. Basal rosette of slightly toothed, spoon-shaped, stalked leaves below stalk-less, oblong-lanceolate stem leaves. A hairless or sparsely hairy plant. Height: 20-70cm

Abundant throughout Ireland on roadsides, dry grassland and waste ground.
