Flowering time: May-September. Annual. Probably introduced.

Small white flowers, the 5 petals slightly longer than the sepals. The narrow fleshy leaves are in two clusters and merge to give a whorled appearance. A glandular hairy plant with sprawling or ascending weak, branched stems. Height: 10-35cm

Common on acidic sandy waste ground and arable land but less frequent in central Ireland
