Flowering time: June-August. Annual. Introduced.

Solitary white flowers with hollow, conical, yellow central discs and ray-florets that turn downwards soon after opening. The leaves are feathery, pinnately divided and pleasantly aromatic when crushed. Stems are erect and branched. Height 15-50 cm.

Occasional on disturbed ground on roadsides, arable and waste ground and near ports. Often included in wildflower seed mixtures.
