Flowering time: April-Octobere. Perennial. Native.

Small, compact, yellow flowers on slender flower-stalks are followed by coiled black, kidney-shaped seedpods. The trifoliate alternate leaves have toothed leaflets with mucronate (pointed) tips. A more / less hairy, upright or scrambling plant to 75cm.

Roadsides, grassland, walls and waste ground on well-drained soil
