White or pink flowers, the petals as long or longer than the sepals and most seeds with a membranous wing. Creeping or ascending growth habit with small, fleshy, pointed leaves that are usually hairless. Height to 30cm

Coastal. Frequent on gravelly or muddy sea-shores and salt marshes.

Similar: Lesser Sea-spurrey, Spergularia marina. Annual. Smaller flowers, the sepals usually longer than the petals
