Flowering: June-August. Perennial. Garden escape. Introduced.

Leafy spikes with clusters of yellow flowers with a darker eye, the petals fringed with glandular hairs. The evergreen, clearly-stalked, oval leaves have hairy edges. Spreads vegetatively and can form large clumps. Height 60-100cm.

A garden escape found on roadsides, waste ground and by rivers
