Flowering time: May-October. Annual. Introduced.

Flowers with no petals but conical yellow-green receptacles and a strong smell of pineapple when crushed. Very fine-cut leaves on erect stems.

Can be very common on bare compact ground on paths, waste ground, roadsides and arable land throughout Ireland.

Mayweeds have similar leaves but white flowers with yellow centres.
